a bit about me


I’m Alex. I make wedding films now, but I started out during the peak YouTube travel film era, filming trips, friends and ordinary moments that didn’t seem particularly important at the time.

Looking back now, those pieces of footage have become some of the most valuable things I own. Not because they’re perfect, but because they hold people, places and a time in life that can never really be recreated.

I think that’s shaped a lot of how I see weddings today.

For me, filmmaking isn’t about creating moments for the camera. It’s about noticing what’s already there. The way someone looks at you when you’re not paying attention. Your friends being themselves. I believe there’s beauty in ordinary moments when you pay enough attention to them.

It means so, so much for us to watch a film made by someone who truly understands us. You took the time to get to know us and the dynamic of our relationship, and what you have crafted is something that so faithfully tells our story. This is the film we'll be playing for our kids one day, years from now.
